MUHAMMAD ASIF Senior Director – Engineering and Operations



Mr. Muhammad Asif has held positions that included V.P. Operations & Quality (Mark IV Automotive, Melbourne, Australia and Rochester Hills, Michigan), Director of Quality, Director of Operations, and Senior Manufacturing Engineer (Nissan Motor Manufacturing Company of Australia) in plants in Japan, U.K., and Thailand for vehicle, engine, stamping, and casting plants, and also ACL Bearing of Tasmania. He has an excellent understanding of metal forming processing and tooling management and its impact on output quality.

Mr. Asif is experienced at applying world-class processing principles and practices in a variety of environments, including precision metal-forming, injection molding, automotive aftermarket manufacturing, fruit processing, distribution networks, and assembly operations.

He has 28 years of experience in a variety of manufacturing, engineering, and plant management roles, with a special emphasis on reliability and quality assurance practices during new product and plant launches, and implementation of Lean Manufacturing in multiple plant environments.

He also has had P&L responsibility for 10 manufacturing locations and $600 million of revenue in the U.S. and Canada, with special emphasis in development and start-up of large assembly plants.
